I'm moving and am using these to keep track of everything so I can see if the moving truck loses any of my stuff. I am numbering my boxes and I can't manually organize the which is really annoying. The app is meh. Not great.
I purchased these labels because I was building a yellow tote organizer. This came in very handy but my only issue is the stickers tend to start come off and you have to push on them a little to get them to restick. Great idea and app.
Fabulous & very easy to use. Title says it all.Do have a suggestion though. I use for pantry items squirreled away. However I would like a zero - 0 - quantity option. I repeat buy many items. Having a '0' quantity would allow multiple purchases without having to make a whole new entry again. Having a picture and '0' stock reminds me to buy, without having to write a list - achieving 2 goals in one!Hope it will work in abroad as well (noted that some other QR apps are not international). … Always hard to remember what I left with family over there! Ever more important now baggage allowances are so small & checked bag charges are high.
Product was easy to use
My family loves Christmas time and loves to decorate. However over the years we have acquired more adore decorations and every year it was "where is " a certain item. Couldn't remember from one year to the next what tote had what in it. Came across totescan and decided to try it. This year when I heard "where is" I would hand the my tablet and say search totescan. Everything found without having to dig through a mountain of totes. A lot less confusion.
This product is amazingIt is incredible and a brilliant ideaHighly recommend this product
I am using this to organize my collectibles, my crafts, garage supplies, etc.
I was really excited when I found this product - I struggle with organization and storage like many people do. In actual use, I ran into some issues.Firstly, each tag is small and there is only one. I would like at least two of each barcode, and one be much larger - that way I could label at least two sides of each box or tote that I use.Secondly, the interface is not great. What I was hoping for was something faster and more automated. This app can scan barcodes, which works for books new …enough to have them, but how many of the items you have within arms reach of you right now have a bar code? In order to photograph items, you have to hit the camera icon, which then brings up a sub-menu where you can choose between photos stored on your device or taking a new picture - why would I already have photos of my stuff on my phone? Ideally for me, hitting the camera icon would just open the camera, I would photograph the book or item, and then when I approved the picture it would save it automatically. Each item you add using this current app is *six* separate steps - for me this really defeats the purpose. I could just write a description of the thing on a post-it note in less time.So I've already paid for this stuff and installed the app, so I will kludge along with it for the time being, but I would not buy this again without substantial changes to the app.
As a military wife, my family is constantly moving about every 3years. These have been very helpful in keeping track of our belongings!
